Incisional With Eye Lift

As explained above under eyebag operations, in several patients, if we just remove fat and excess skin, it will not give a sufficient result. We need to remove excess skin and also perform an eye bag lift.In this procedure, we will lift the skin and muscle layer at the eye bag area and attach it to the side of the eye area, onto the bone. This will allow us to achieve a lift to the area. In several patients this is necessary to achieve a smooth result, especially in severe cases.

This procedure also ensures that the eyes will not change shape and reduce the risk of a ectropion. An ectropion is when the lower eyelid collapses outward. It can occur when there is either insufficient eyelid support or too much skin removed. A eyelid lift increases the needed support and prevents this from occurring.
